I love personalized items! So I was definitely thrilled when I came across a site that sells personalized music Cd's for children. My Kids Music offers several choices including a Christmas CD with popular songs such as Joy To the World, Silent Night, and We Wish You A Merry Christmas with a twist...your child's name is mentioned on each and every track.

Breastmilk and Asthma
Studies have found that breast feeding your baby for more than four months will actually improve lung function and help protect baby from asthma later in life but only if the mother does not suffer from the disorder herself. Click here to read entire article.

Now Baby Can Have a Little Bling...And You Too!
When I wanted to commemorate the birth of my son I looked for a piece of jewelry that I could have with me always but nothing seemed to grab me. Everything seemed, ummm... just not right.I did however settle on a double heart necklace from Tiffany's that bares my son's initials. I do wish that I had come across Rocks To Buy Baby.

Love, Love, Love This Baby Carrier!
Hey Moms...here's another product review. I absolutely love the Baby Bjorn City Carrier (and trust me, I've tried quite a few). I'm a lazy mom and dread lugging the stroller in and out of the car. But I'm gonna have to do it eventually because the Baby Bjorn City Carrier only holds infants up to 25lbs. My little guy is 18lbs so let the count down begin to stroller time! Price tag: 79.99. Shop in stores at Babies R US and Target or online at http://www.babiesrus/ and http://www.target.com/.

Hey Moms! This one is for the kiddies. I found a great coat a Saks Fifth Avenue (yes, I admit I love, love, love Saks) The coat is by Burberry, so you know it's not cheap, $253.00. But before I decided on that one I took a look at Old Navy. And guess what...I found a similar coat for only $25.88 regularly priced at $34.50. Check 'em out and you tell me...to splurge or to budget?
To purchase the splurge item, shop online at http://www.saks.com/. To purchase the budget item, visit any Old Navy or shop online at http://www.oldnavy.com/.

Hey moms! Another hot fall trend are "Wellies" or what some would call rain boots. These boots are hailed as the new Uggs. And yes, I have owned several pairs of Uggs so I decided to give Wellies a try and here is what I came up with. A pair of Burberry Nova Check rain boots, the epitome of rainy weather gear, for $170 and a pair of Target brand "wellies" for a mere $19.99.
Take a look and you tell me...To splurge or to budget? And people let us not forget, they are made of rubber after all! Shop in store at Nordstrom's, Saks, or online at www.burberryonline.com for the Splurge item. Shop in store at Target or online at www.target.com for the Budget item.

AWWW...IMMORTALIZE YOUR LITTLE ONE'S HANDS
I am always looking for cool products for kids and keepsakes for moms. I found two neat items over at Red Envelope. One is a "Hand Print Tower". For thirty bucks you can capture your little one's hand prints from age 1 up to age 5. The hand print kit comes in pink or blue tins. Makes a great shower gift!
The other cool gift (and another way to immortalize your little one) also from Red Envelope is a personalized fairytale or animal story book. You can have either book personalized with your child's name. My favorite is the animal story book. It introduces animals that correspond to each letter of your child's name. These books are sure to make reading fun for your kids. Each book cost $35. Check em' out.

A WORD ON UNDERAGE DRINKING
As a mom, I found this very interesting and surprising...Did you know that 65% of underage youth obtain alcohol from family and friends? And that only 7% of underage youth report that they obtained alcohol from retailers that did not check ID. Well...there is an organization, The Century Council, that has made it a mission to fight drunk driving and underage drinking. Check out there various initiatives.

FOR TECH SAAVY MOMS
Check out this great looking laptop for those mompreneurs, bloggers, and plain ole internet surfers. This is a piece of art! I am always looking for something unique and Sony VAIO has prevailed. Their new line of laptops have art filled lids created by Maya Hayuk. I've googled Maya but haven't found a website for her work yet. There are plenty of articles regarding her out on the net though. Check her out.
